The Art 23 Trail will also take place again this year, featuring stunning local art in shop windows throughout Streatham from 7 th -17 th July. For those who wish to try their hand at some art of their own, Streatham Sketch will be holding a burlesque-themed life drawing class on Monday 4 th July (over 18s only).

There will also be an open-air performance of ‘Hamlet’ by the Festival Players Theatre Company, and a rare opportunity to join the Streatham Theatre Company for tours of the historic Streatham Hill Theatre, with snippets of the Bard’s plays performed around the venue. Another literary event to look out for is the ‘writing literary mysteries’ workshop, presented by successful local author Christopher Bowden.

The highlight of the week for families is sure to be the Family Fun Day at the British Home on Saturday 9th . Featuring food and fun from around the Streatham community, including a number of performances from local schoolchildren. Excitingly, the Family Fun Day will also play host to two performances of Harry; the play about Harry Styles of One Direction.
