Variation of condition 2 (Approved Drawings) of planning permission 14/00362/FUL (Demolition of existing property and erection of a part 4, part 5 storey building plus basement level to provide 7 self contained flats and a two storey building plus a basement level providing 2 semi detached dwelling houses together with associated landscaping, refuse and cycle storage, 5 car parking spaces and outdoor amenity space) granted on 13.05.2014. Variation sought: The houses at 70 Kings Avenue have been constructed higher than that shown on the planning approved drawing KGA70-PL-GA-15. Due to increased insulation below the basement level of the structure the amended height needs a formal planning approval. (Amended plans)

An appeal has been made to the Secretary of State against the Council’s decision to refuse consent or prior approval (or failure to determine the application) for the following development: “Demolition of 3 derelict garages to the rear of the property and erection of a 2 storey dwelling house with access onto Eucalyptus Mews, together with the provision refuse and cycle storages.”
