<p>A Streatham father has launched a boxing charity to help the area&rsquo;s teenagers following the riots across London in August last year.<br /> Darren Hill, 40, said he watched the footage of the rioters with a growing feeling of frustration that young children were among the older looters.<br /> Friends and family joined Darren on Friday (6 January) at the Pied Bull pub in Streatham Common for a charity pool night which raised &pound;170 in aid of Team Lambeth Boxing Club.<br />

Response to Chuka Umunna MP: A statement from Save Skating in Streatham

30/09/10 'The Save Skating in Streatham group, comprised of local ice users, residents, politicians and local businesses, notes the request by Chuka Umunna, MP for Streatham, that we "compromise" over the proposal by Tesco and Lambeth Council to build a temporary ice rink on the site of Pope's Road multi-story car park, which is Brixton's only public car park.

Respect Rydal Road as a Conservation Area
