ROOKFEST 2018 date confirmed!

<p>A free music festival will be held at the Rookery Gardens on Saturday the 1s of July from 11am- 10pm.<br /> Bringing local musicians and artists in front of the local audience in with live performance on the stunning backdrop of the renewed Rookery Gardens.</p> <p>Limited availability!</p> <p>Due to the license at the Rookery there is a limited amount of tickets available. Entrance is free and will be available for a donation on the door.

FAMILY FUN DAY 14TH & 15TH JULY

<p>A day of interactive fun and games for all families in Streatham Common.<br /> As well as giant slides, bouncy castles, bungee run, toddlers and craft zones there will also be a music and reflective zone and lots of refreshments.<br /> This is a very popular event so come early to bit the queues!<br /> Everything is FREE</p>

Auditions for 'Hamlet off the Street'

<p>Hamlet off the Street – Open Auditions!<br /> Shakespeare’s greatest play (probably) comes to Streatham!</p> <p>The Streatham Theatre Company are auditioning for performances at the end of September, hopefully in St. Leonard’s Church (subject to agreement).<br /> Come and try out on from 7pm to 9pm<br /> Wednesday June 6th and Friday June 8th or<br /> Sunday June 10th from 3 pm to 5pm at Vinters Studios, 1b Sunnyhill Road, SW16 2UG.</p> <p>Don’t worry if you’ve never acted Shakespeare before or you don’t identify as<br /> male!

Streatham Theatre Company AGM

<p>The Annual General Meeting of Streatham Theatre Company will be held at 8pm on 28 June 2018, upstairs at the Horse and Groom.</p> <p> Doors open 7.30pm. <p>Croydon Council has organised a Dog awareness morning taking place in Norwood Grove, above Streatham Common on the 12th of May between 9am and 11am.</p> <p>You can meet the council officials and will the following will be on offer:</p> <p>* Free microchipping<br /> * Free ID tag<br /> * Free behavioural &amp; training advise<br /> * Low-cost neutering vouchers<br /> * Lost dog advise<br /> * Rescue dog adoption<br /> * Dogs and the law<br /> * Advise on dog related issues</p>
